Pain comes in all different forms (sharp/shooting, throbbing/achy, stabbing, gnawing, etc). Pelvic floor PT can help with many types of pain including hip or back pain that hasn’t improved with traditional PT or chiropractic care (the root cause is often INSIDE the pelvis).
This can also include tailbone pain, pelvic pain, genital pain, buttock pain, sciatica, abdominal/groin pain, and MORE.

Maybe you want to return to running or other sports, be able to take care of your kid(s) without pain, or just want to feel your best, it all starts with building the right foundation. This often includes breath work, core and pelvic floor strengthening (NOT just kegels), and ensuring optimal posture while caring for your new little one. The internet is full of “free advice”. Let us take the guess work out of it and create an individualized program to help YOU meet YOUR goals. Click here to learn more about postpartum recovery.

Prolapse is often described as vaginal heaviness, pressure, or achiness. You can have a bladder prolapse (cystocele), bowel prolapse (rectocele), uterine prolapse, just to name a few. Surgery is not the only answer. These conditions can be treated conservatively to improve symptoms.

Whether you work hard, play hard, or just want to keep your body running optimally, recovery sessions could be your missing piece.
We use various techniques (Functional Dry Needling, myofascial cupping, etc.) to improve muscle extensibility/flexibility, decrease pain, and reset your nervous system.

The Mid-Missouri Pelvic Health Difference
Quality over Quantity
At Mid-Missouri Pelvic Health, you’ll never feel rushed or like “just another appointment.” Every session is a full hour, one-on-one, and focused entirely on you — no double-booking, no bouncing between patients, and no being left alone with a machine.
We believe in a hands-on, personalized approach, not cookie-cutter care. Your treatment plan will grow and evolve as you do — until you reach all of your goals, not just “good enough.”
We don’t have quotas to fill. Our priority is the quality of your care, not the number of patients we see.
Experience & Specialization in Pelvic Health
Pelvic health isn’t something we “dabble” in — it’s what we do, all day, every day. Dr. Jen has nearly a decade of specialized experience in pelvic floor physical therapy and has helped patients from all over Missouri regain confidence and control in their bodies.
She also brings a personal perspective — having experienced both a vaginal delivery and a c-section herself — and knows firsthand the physical and emotional challenges that come with postpartum recovery. She’ll meet you exactly where you are and help you build a plan that fits your real life (not a textbook).
Intimate Setting with Active Listening
From the moment you walk through our door, you’ll notice the difference. At Mid-Missouri Pelvic Health, your sessions take place in a private, quiet, and comfortable space — never a busy therapy gym or hospital.
We take time to truly listen to your story, without rushing or interrupting. You’ll never have to share personal details behind a curtain or in a room full of other patients.
When you call our office, you’ll only ever talk to Marissa, our patient care coordinator, or Dr. Jen herself — not a call center or a scheduling line. We believe your care should feel personal from start to finish.
Personalized Care
You deserve more than quick fixes or generic advice like “just do your kegels” or “have a glass of wine.” Your symptoms deserve real answers and a plan that’s built for you.
Every evaluation includes a comprehensive, head-to-toe assessment and a treatment plan tailored to your body, goals, and lifestyle. You’ll always work with the same therapist — no assistants, no being passed off — because we believe healing happens best when there’s trust, consistency, and genuine connection between you and your provider.
“I was extremely hesitant to even make this appointment due to the extremely sensitive nature of the treatment. I was SO glad I finally went. Dr Jen immediately made me feel like a friend and her knowledge and explanation of every little detail was unmatched. This is the best experience I have had with a provider in years. Highly recommend!”
